***Update regarding our search for Ottawa County’s Administrator***

First, a sincere thank you to the many qualified individuals who applied and took interest in serving as our next County Administrator.
You are invited to come and observe the Community Work Group Administrator Interviews this Monday, September 8, from 9-3 in the Administration Building-Conference Room H. This meeting will also be live-streamed and available to watch on Youtube.
This coming Wednesday, September 10, there will be a Board of Commissioners Special Meeting beginning at 9 a.m. in the Administration Building-Board Room. This meeting will also be live-streamed and available to watch on Youtube.
After prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, and Roll Call, there will be a time for Public Comment. As always, each person desiring to speak to the Board, may share their thoughts about any topic for up to three minutes.
Shortly after Public Comment, the Interviews of the final candidates will take place in the following order:
1. Paul Sachs
2. Matthew Farrar
3. Kurt Dykstra
4. Patrick Waterman
5. Chris Kukulski
After the interviews take place, there will be a second opportunity for Public Comment.
In order for our county residents to have a bit longer to weigh in on the interviews, I have emailed the Chair to call another Special Meeting for final deliberation and votes by the Board of Commissioners. I have received a response saying a meeting will be posted for next week Friday, September 12 – for verification, look for an official posting early next week.
