Great news received today from the Department of Energy!
The DOE extended their emergency declaration for the MISO grid, allowing for the order to keep the J.H. Campbell Plant open for another 90 days- through November 19.
Back in July, during a Max Gen event, the JH Campbell Plant was greatly needed and used to avoid significant shortages to our MISO grid.
Reliable baseload power is important for families, businesses, public safety and our overall economy.
