It was a privilege to witness awards given out to individuals from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department during the start of our Board of Commissioners meeting this morning.
Over the past 9 weeks, I have had the opportunity to participate in an Ottawa County Citizens Police Academy on Thursday evenings. Throughout my time, I have enjoyed meeting the officers, learning more about the various aspects of the Sheriff’s Department through presentations, hands-on learning, and a Friday night ride-along with a deputy- fantastic experience!
