Update on our Special Meeting for our search for our next County Administrator
We are currently in our second recess since we began meeting at 9 a.m.
One extra motion made by Commissioner Moss was to adjourn until tomorrow to have enough time to properly vet candidates.
This motion failed 7-4.
Another motion made by Commissioner Rhodea was to review the applicants in an open and transparent process.
This motion failed 7-4.
Then we had discussion about entering closed session and took a vote.
This motion failed 7-4.
Then a motion was made by Commissioner Brugger to recess for two hours.
This motion passed.
At 11:45, we reconvened and voted to go back into recess for two more hours.
